Two-to-Three Medical Assistants are currently in place to work-up patients, assist in the physical exams, and to facilitate the activation of our evaluation and care efforts.  Each of these individuals are college graduates with the intend to further their education.  They are selected from approximately 40 applicants each year, and only two or three are hired for a one-year externship so that they can learn more about the complexities of modern medicine.  These are hard-working, bright, enthusiastic young employees who are generally on their way to medical school, to graduate school, or to other activities such as a Fulbright scholarship.
